最近、初めてこの曲の歌詞を読んでみた。

エスター・フィリップスの弾むようなカバーヴァージョンは、
恋して何もかもが美しく感じられることの喜びに溢れている。

「縁は異なもの」という邦題がついてるそうだけど
なるほどなぁ、

誰かとの出逢いによって
今まで当たり前に思っていたものが
昨日までとはまるっきり違うものに感じられるのって
ものすごくステキな気分だ。

出逢いや恋愛が引き起こす化学反応って
予想のできない「異なもの」だからこそ
新鮮で面白いんだと思う。

恋愛に限らず、いろいろな意味で
「縁」を感じる出逢いは大事にしたいな、と思った。
